From the glamour of London to the charm of Killarney, relive the magic and merriment of the Middle Ages. Your stay in London includes a city tour of its most famous landmarks: Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, and the Tower of London. While here, also enjoy a spectacular theatre performance.

In Salisbury, visit the awe-inspiring Cathedral Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and then continue to 5,000 year old Stonehenge, Britain’s national icon symbolizing mystery, power, and endurance. Visit the Roman Bath Museum in the ancient town of Bath. Travel into Wales to its capital, Cardiff, to see the castle and Cardiff Arms Park. Board a ferry to cross St. George’s Channel to Ireland. In Waterford, tour the world-famous crystal factory. Then travel  through Cork to Blarney Castle. In Killarney, a ride on the Ring of Think Ireland and you instantly conjure up images of lush green Kerry showcases some of the world’s most beautiful scenery. Discover the lifestyle and traditions of an Irish family at the Molanna and castles. Few places on the planet are as filled with natural beauty Dairy Farm. At the Rock of Cashel, the ruins of a fortified abbey and cathedral, hear the story of how in the 5th-century St. Patrick converted the king of the Eoghanachta clan (now known as the McCarthys of Cork).

While in Dublin, see St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the Bank of Ireland, Stone. Travel to the Marian pilgrimage town of Knock to see the Grafton Street, and Phoenix Park. Return to Wales to see impressive magnificent shrine. Traverse one of the most scenic and beautiful Caernarfon Castle where Charles was crowned Prince of Wales. Travel north into England’s lake district and then onto Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland. The city tour includes Edinburgh Castle and the monumental St. Giles Cathedral. Journey back to England to visit York and its magnificent 13th-century Minster Cathedral, the largest cathedral in Europe! Visit the Coventry Cathedral of St. marvel and venture to Stratford-upon-Avon, William Shakespeare's birthplace and home of Anne Hathaway’s thatchroof cottage.

Detailed Daily Itinerary:

Day 1: Overnight Flight to London

Begin your journey of history, culture and scenic wonders of England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales with an overnight flight to London.  Appropriate meals will be served in flight and a movie will be offered for your viewing pleasure.

 

Day 2: Arrive London, England

Upon arrival in London, your Tour Director will meet you and provide an orientation tour as you travel from the airport to your hotel.  This afternoon is at leisure to relax and unwind or to stroll the charming city streets.  Tonight, enjoy a festive “Welcome to London” dinner.

 

Day 3: London

A delightful panoramic sightseeing tour of London highlights Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, the Collegiate Church of St. Peter in Westminster Abbey, and the changing of the guard.  Later today, you will be treated to a spectacular London theatre performance.

 

Day 4: London – Salisbury – Stonehenge – Bath

In Salisbury, visit the imposing Cathedral Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary.  Continue to Stonehenge, the mysterious 5,000 year old rock formation that has become one of Britain’s national icons.  Then, tour the ancient town of Bath and visit the Roman Bath Museum to see the elaborate 1st Century spas.

 

Day 5: Cardiff, Wales – Ferry Crossing to Ireland – Waterford

Sightseeing will take you to Cardiff, capital of Wales, to see Cardiff Arms Park and 2,000 year old Cardiff Castle.  Board a ferry in Fishguard for a scenic ferry crossing of St. George's Channel to Rosslare, Ireland.  On arrival in Ireland, you will travel to the charming town of Waterford.

 

Day 6: Waterford – Blarney – Killarney

A fascinating tour through the world-famous Waterford Crystal Factory will demonstrate how cherished crystal treasures are created.  Traveling through the city of Cork, there will be time to shop for unique keepsakes at the famous Blarney Woolen Mills before a visit to the historic Blarney Castle.  Perhaps you will want to kiss the famous Blarney Stone, said to give the gift of eloquence upon kissing!

 

Day 7: Ring of Kerry – Killarney

Today in Killarney, a drive along the Ring of Kerry will showcase some of the world's most beautiful and incredible scenery.  No trip to Ireland is complete without taking in these wonderful vistas.  This evening enjoy a rollicking good time of fun and entertainment at The Laurels, a 100 year old public house and singing pub.

 

Day 8: Rock of Cashel – Dublin

Discover the lifestyle and traditions of a local Irish family when you visit the Molanna dairy farm.  At the Rock of Cashel, the ruins of a fortified abbey and cathedral, hear the story of how St. Patrick converted the king of the Eoghanachta clan (now known as the McCarthys of Cork).  Tonight in Dublin, dinner and entertainment will be   provided at a typical Irish cabaret.

 

Day 9: Dublin

While in the “fair city” of Dublin, visit the impressive St. Patrick's Cathedral, the Bank of Ireland, Grafton Street, and Phoenix Park, the largest urban park in all of Europe.  An afternoon of leisure will allow time for personal sightseeing and shopping in the quaint, yet bustling, Irish capital.

 

Day 10: Ferry Crossing to Wales

Once again, ferry across St. George's Channel from Ireland back to Holyhead in northern Wales where you will pass Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, the town with the longest name in Europe.  See the beautiful Caernarfon Castle, where Charles was crowned Prince of Wales.  End the day at your hotel located at the great crossroads of North Wales in County Flintshire.

 

Day 11: England’s Lake District – Edinburgh, Scotland

Today you will travel northward into England's scenic Lake District to see Lake Windermere with its many steamboats, and the charming lakeside hamlets of Ambleside and Grasmere.  Crossing the border into Scotland, you will arrive in Edinburgh, the extraordinary capital city.
